Mornings are special at Poofy's Paradise. We had 5 deer come for breakfast and a Sauna over the weekend.

Pavers are in place for the winter. Second stage for the patio, coming in the spring.

the Barrel Sauna and Patio

We are pretty excited about the addition of a Barrel Sauna at Poofy's Paradise!  Phase 1 of our outdoor patio plan for the fall. 

The plans for the covered patio include a built in sofa, gas and charcoal bbq areas, gas fire pit, bar and outdoor dining table. I am way too excited!!!!

My high school drafting class has come in handy after all these years...

Sweater Weather at Lake Wenatchee

I love checking out a new hike when we get up to Poofy's but I also LOVE just staying home in my pj's, drinking coffee and getting crafty. This weekend I packed the sewing machine and my bag of felted sweaters. 

I had most of squares ready to go, so this was the fun part, finally putting it all together.

Had the french doors wide open, listening to the sound of the rain.

I am thinking a nice grey flannel for the backing...then I'll be ready to snuggle up at Lake Wenatchee and watch the waves come in.

Twin Lakes Hike

The Twin Lakes trailhead is at the end of the road on the north side of Lake Wenatchee. We did this hike last spring when there was still some snow on the ground at the top. Just over 8 miles round trip, this has been one of our favorites. A lovely variety of views and a lake to jump into at the end.

Bread, Bikes and Buns...

Weekends at Poofy's are all about relaxing, getting out on bikes or taking a hike. 

 I brought my old Lodge cast iron pot out to Poofy's and love to make some no knead bread.

It usually lasts about 10 minutes if we are lucky.

...and then I had a craving for cinnamon buns!
