Vacation rental Leavenworth with EV charging

We are so excited to now offer our guests 220volt EV charging!!!! Woohoo!!! We did a test run yesterday and its nice and speedy. Works for Tesla and we'll be adding a 120 volt plug in the next few weeks.

 Whenever we travel, vacation rentals are our choice for accommodation. I love to have the option to cook and have spaces to spread out and relax. Outdoor spaces are often overlooked.  We are always trying to add my favorite touches for our guests to enjoy.

We just added a ceiling fan to our outdoor space. Located between Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth in the lovely town of Plain. Our place has private acreage, so we love spending as much time as we can outside.

Sheltered from the snow for year round use. BBQ in the snow! It also has a side gas burner for a pot of hot cider or hot chocolate station.

Seattle Road Trip, Lake Wenatchee Hikes

Fall is a beautiful time to be hiking in the cascades. Cooler temperatures, changing of the leaves, and the beautiful PNW. Our place, Poofy's Paradise is located in Plain Washington. Off highway 2 between Lake Wenatchee in Leavenworth, its the perfect location. Spend the morning an early afternoon hiking and then head into Leavenworth for a late afternoon stroll around town and dinner.

Here are 3 of our favorite hikes close to Lake Wenatchee.

Hidden Lake, Lake Wenatchee is a favorite when we have older family members or very young family members with us. super short with the rewards of a 2 lakes! Lake Wenatchee t the beginning and Hidden lake at the end. 

Twin Lakes, Lake Wenatchee is 6 miles round trip. a great one to pack a lunch for. Not a huge climb, regular running shoes will be just fine. I enjoy the variety in this trail and once again the rewards of  lakes at the end.

Dirty Face If you want more of a challenge! Still haven't made it to the top but I seem to prefer 6 miles round trip with moderate elevation gain. So...go as far as you like. There is a lovely little waterfall and great views of Lake Wenatchee about a mile in . It makes for the perfect family destination.

Seattle Day trip, Stevens Pass, Family Time

 Stevens Pass is always a stop on our way to Poofys. In the winter to Snowboard, spring through fall its the Mountain Bike Park. There is lots of fun for the whole family.

Follow the trail up the mountain to meet up with the Pacific Coast Trail.

The beautiful view alone is worth the trip.

Float the river Leavenworth, Lake Wenatchee, Wenatchee river

Trails, rivers, lakes! Pick your destination, pack some water and snacks and enjoy the day.

Not too far up the Dirty Face hike is this sweet waterfall. Perfect for a quick walk in the woods with kids. Get an earlier start for the whole hike, I'm a slacker so still haven't made it to the top!!!

Float the Wenatchee!!! Be sure to check the conditions and water level, be prepared with a life jacket and know your "jump out location". We usually jump in at mosquito flats. between mile post 16 and 17 on Beaver Valley rd. in Plain. Its about 3/4's of the way to mile post 17. Should be some cars parked on the side of the road. Its just a trail that leads you in. Best spots are always a little hidden. About a 3 hour float to the bridge at Plain where you can jump out and access the parking lot.

Lake Wenatchee, always a great spot. Theres trails to hike, a small playground, camp store and a great beach.

Head to Leavenworth and the lazy river at waterfront park.
