Truth is you can easily keep yourself busy in our little town of Plain. After a local hike, bike ride or horseback riding, I recommend a wine tasting at Plain Cellars.

A charming tasting room and plenty of outdoor seating around the back.

 You'll find A Taste of Plain Food Truck serving up deliciousness on Saturdays and Sundays.

Checking out the Plain Valley Nordic trails system. Just 2 miles from our from door.

 

Snow shoeing...this shot is the Skyline trail at Stevens Pass. The rest of family is die-hard snowboarders, I like a slower pace!

Our last guests carved out some pretty sweet stairs and built a slide! Door access is to the left! We like to call this a super dad moment.

It's a magical time of the year in the Cascades. Heres a few shots of Poofy's at Christmas time. Happy Holidays from all of us. We wish you good health and happiness in 2022.

My favorite time of the year, Fall in the cascades. Did a quick check in at Poofys on my way to the BC Okanagan to visit with dear friends before the wineries close for the season!

Where to eat on Hwy 2, Leavenworth

I had to make a quick day trip, supply run to Poofys. Dinner at the 59er Diner before heading back over the pass was picture perfect and delicious!

Right at Coles Corner, the 59er Diner is your first stop as you come over Stevens Pass. I recommend the pulled pork!

My brother is a big Elvis fan, so i had to take a quick shot for him.
