Headed to Leavenworth for a day trip or weekend or longer? Take the drive towards Plain on the Chiwawa loop road. Check in at Plain Hardware and get yourself a cross country ski pass for the day as well as cross country ski rentals if you need them.

SOOOO much snow fell this November and December. It was mid thigh for me treking around the property. Luckily, it was light and fluffy and easy to shovel.

Absolutely gorgeous views on this one! I haven't been riding much this year so was proud of myself for making it up most of the 4 mile climb for some photos and the view. I prefer a mellower cross country ride, but my downhill riding husband LOVED IT!
