Seattle Day trip, Stevens Pass, Family Time

Stevens Pass is always a stop on our way to Poofys. In the winter to Snowboard, spring through fall its the Mountain Bike Park. There is lots of fun for the whole family.

Follow the trail up the mountain to meet up with the Pacific Coast Trail.
Disk golf anyone?
My favorite, Super Jenga!
....or Supersize checkers...
Connect four...
Corn Hole
Coffee and snacks, i recommend a picnic.

The beautiful view alone is worth the trip.
No dogs on the mountain bike trails.

A great day trip for family of all ages.

Winter Wonderland

I forgot to hit the "publish button" on my December post!

The snow has arrived turning Poofy's Paradise into a winter wonderland once again. Light fluffy powder fell from the sky all weekend. I can't wait to get back.

First snow fall for our new sauna.

Back inside, I was busy getting things looking festive.

Happy Holidays! We hope you'll visit Poofy's Paradise in the new year.

This weekend in Paradise...

The holidays were special again this year at Poofy's Paradise. Waking up to daily doses of fresh powder.  While my family loves to snowboard at Stevens I love all the cross country that is just outside the front door.
Book 2 nights at Poofy's Paradise and your 3rd night is free. Sunday-thursday until March 30, 2017 only! You'll also receive free day passes form Ski Plain and 50% off rentals at Plain Hardware.

A short stroll to the sauna...

The front perch....

Checking out the views from the Christmas tree farm.

Shugart Flats Road, prettiest rd in the state in every season!

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

My routine of late is to wake up,  look outside and notice the clean fresh new snow.

Next, I groggily check the Stevens Pass snow report on my phone. Then I stumble into the shower. Feeling more alive, I shake the kiddos awake while broadcasting the new fresh that fell. Today, it was another 14 inches. This number is key to getting the kids to move. After slapping all our gear together, we roll outside and get to work loading the boards, and clearing off the car.

Then we cruise to Stevens Pass, and for the first few runs, we catch some low hanging fruit powder.

As the day passes, and the in bounds gets tracked, we do a little hike, and the fresh tracks start all over again.

Life is good.

Book your stay at Poofy's Paradise on VRBO or AirBnB.
