Poofy's is available to rent over the Thanksgiving Holiday! Sleeps 8 comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked to cook up a feast or hide out and relax.

24 hours in Plain Wa....

After a busy summer, we had a quick fall cleaning trip over to Poofys.

Pot belly stove is ready for campfires on the cozy patio.

Patio lights are up for those early fall evenings.

We had to test the sauna and patio lights...everything is working beautifully.

Fall is starting to show its colors along the Wenatchee river as we crossed the bridge into "downtown" Plain.

...crazy to have a september brushing of snow at Stevens pass.

A quick stop to play in the first snow of the season. When we first bought Poofys 5 years ago , the first snow didn't fall until Christmas eve! We are ready for a nice long snowy season.

A trip to over the pass is not complete without a stop at Wildflours restaurant at Kahler Glen golf course on Lake Wenatchee.  Deliciousness.....

Summer in Leavenworth

What a beautiful summer! Here's some shots of Leavenworth I took at the beginning of summer. We had a full summer of bookings and I am looking forward to finally getting in  a few days this week!

Spring in Leavenworth

A picture perfect first ride of the season a couple weeks ago. Here's the hi-lites from Freund Canyon in Leavenworth.

So, it was more of hike up than a ride up for my tired and out of shape 50 year old body.

I felt no guilt in stopping to photograph the wild flowers.

Somebody has to do it and it wasn't going to be my teenager that was napping at the top waiting for me to get there.

I thought the bike needed a little break. 

Made it to the top, which means "let the downhill fun begin!"

We love having dinner in Leavenworth. Here's  a few quick shots from a walk through the back alley...

Cabin Decor

We love our time at Poofys to hike, bike, ski and hang out in Leavenworth. We also really love the weekends when we never leave the house.

That pretty blue desk is becoming my favorite corner to catch up on painting in my sketchbook.

My kids say I am a little obsessive about my morning coffee. Between the french press, drip, 3 sizes of Moka pots and the worlds greatest milk frother, your morning will be off to a good start. There's also a pretty good selection of tea and I'm always adding to my mug collection.

Its been a lot of fun curating our collection of art, crafts and thrift store finds at Poofys. My husband and I are both painters, our work is sprinkled through the house. It's pretty cozy.

Perfect spot to start a new book. There is a couple of bookshelves upstairs as well as kids books and games in the bunk bed room.

March Getaways

February was an amazing month for snow.  Snow much fun still to be had in March.
